Melissa Hood
Melissa Hood was born in Point Pleasant and still resides on the JerseyShore. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. She attended New York University for graduate school where she earned her Master's Degree in Studio Art. Melissa spent two summers living in Venice, Italy and one summer living in Berlin, Germany. Melissa uses mixed media with a heavy concentration on Uni Posca Markers to create her work. She is currently concentrating on illustrative landscapes.
