My wish is that my paintings speak to the viewers, perhaps holding their gaze a moment longer, enticing the viewers to look deeper, and to wonder! Although artistic my entire life, I only bought my first canvas in the year 2000. I love abstract free flowing art with the ever-friendly versatility of acrylic paint on Gallery wrapped canvas. I put on the music, engage my favorite colors of the moment, have FUN, and follow my bliss. Optimistically, I paint for the sheer excitement and emotion to appear! Once the painting is completed and named, my hope is the viewers feel connected to the paintings and desire to bring the energy of the art into their homes and lives. I paint continually and submit my paintings to as many exhibits as possible, which allows me to share my art with more people. One of my very special large paintings named "A SUMMER PLACE" won an award at the Arts Society of Monmouth County, and I decided to donate that painting to Mary's Place in Ocean Grove for their GREAT work supporting women with cancer. I hope "A SUMMER PLACE" brings peace and contentment to all their guests. I love that I have this creativity to express my heart and soul on any given day of the week, and I am always honored to be accepted to share the art in our local community and beyond! In the words of Marc Chagall "Art must be an expression of love or it is nothing."
