In this workshop, you will learn about silverpoint, a drawing medium most widely used during the Renaissance. Silverpoint artist Eileen Kennedy will cover the history of silverpoint, using silver and other metalpoints as well as information about different types of silverpoint holders, grounds, and supports. You will also have the opportunity to create their own silverpoint drawing. Handouts with useful information will be provided. $20 per person includes materials and use of equipment. All proceeds benefit the Art Alliance of Monmouth County.
