Born and raised on Staten Island, New York, my early interest in art was encouraged by teachers and by members of my family who pursued professional careers in art. Although I chose not to pursue a career in art, it is a lifelong passion. While completing a degree in Mathematics at Wagner College, I had the opportunity to study art as a minor concentration and gained a good foundation for continuing my exploration using various media.
